Job Title: Early Years Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher who is passionate about working with children and capable of creating engaging learning experiences. The role focuses on providing a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and early learning development.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage learning and development through play and structured teaching
• Create a secure and imaginative environment that stimulates children’s growth
• Work closely with parents to support children’s learning progress
• Build literacy, language, and numeracy skills in line with the curriculum
• Monitor pupils’ progress and design educational activities to support development
• Organize fun and engaging activities that keep children motivated throughout the day
• Prepare children for smooth transition into primary school learning
• Foster independence in daily tasks and social interaction
• Maintain a balance between learning activities and rest periods
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and best teaching practices
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, nursery staff, and volunteers to deliver effective lessons indoors and outdoors

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Early Years specialist
• Creativity and knowledge of educational rhymes
• Strong understanding of British and Nigerian curricula
• Knowledge of diverse teaching methods for early learning
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Dedication to fostering children’s learning and overall growth

Salary

N60,000 – N80,000 per month
