Role Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Technician III will support field electrical maintenance work and ensure proper electrical isolation for lighting, air conditioning, and motor systems. The role involves planning and executing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency. The position typically reports to a supervisor and plays a key role in ensuring plant reliability and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out field electrical maintenance and isolation (Lock Out Tag Out) for equipment and systems.
• Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize production impact.
• Work closely with vendors and subcontractors when necessary.
• Ensure all plant modifications comply with Management of Change (MOC) requirements.
• Apply technical knowledge efficiently and identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Promote and adhere to Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standards.
• Report and act on safety observations using Observation Safety Techniques (OST).
• Participate actively in waste management and environmental sustainability efforts.
• Attend and contribute to daily operations meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Relevant technical certification or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to describe field conditions clearly and recommend solutions.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
