Role Overview

The Electrician will support factory operations by maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in production. This role is important for ensuring smooth daily operations, reducing equipment downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain electrical equipment on production lines
• Carry out electrical repairs to prevent production delays
• Identify electrical faults and resolve them quickly
• Support engineers during equipment upgrades and improvement work
• Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures at all times
• Ensure protective equipment is used during electrical tasks
• Keep clear records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Report equipment issues and completed work to supervisors
• Work closely with technicians and mechanics to complete maintenance tasks

Qualifications and Skills

• Practical experience as an electrician, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repairs
• Valid electrician operation license such as a low-voltage operation certificate
• Technical secondary school certificate or related electrical training is an added advantage
• Good understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety practices
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to faults
• Team player with good communication skills

Salary

Monthly salary ranges from N100,000 to N300,000
