Role Overview

The English Language Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English Language and Literature-in-English to Senior Secondary School students. The role focuses on preparing students effectively for national examinations while fostering strong communication, comprehension, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature-in-English to Senior Secondary School students

• Prepare students for UTME, WAEC, and NECO English Language and Literature examinations

• Develop lesson plans aligned with the approved curriculum and examination standards

• Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations

• Provide academic support and guidance to students to improve learning outcomes

• Maintain accurate academic records and reports

• Participate in departmental meetings and school academic activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in English, Education, or a related discipline

• Proven experience teaching English Language at the secondary school level

• Strong knowledge of UTME, WAEC, and NECO examination requirements

• Excellent communication, classroom management, and lesson delivery skills

• Commitment to full-time teaching and student development

Salary

N80,000 – N100,000 per month
