Role Overview

The Escort Driver will be responsible for the safe and secure transportation of company executives, high-value personnel, and sensitive assets. This role demands excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, strict adherence to security protocols, and the ability to respond effectively to potential risks or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport designated personnel, executives, and assets to assigned destinations

• Perform escort duties for convoys, VIPs, or company personnel to mitigate security risks

• Plan and follow secure and efficient routes, including alternative escape routes when necessary

• Apply defensive driving techniques to ensure safety and risk mitigation

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure optimal working condition and report faults promptly

• Comply with company security policies, protocols, and all traffic regulations

• Report security breaches, suspicious activities, or incidents encountered during operations

• Coordinate closely with the security team to enhance protection measures

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding movements, locations, and identities of escorted personnel

• Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies such as security threats, medical incidents, or vehicle breakdowns

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of five years professional driving experience, preferably in escort or security driving

• Valid driver’s license; defensive driving certification is an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of road safety laws, traffic regulations, and security procedures

• Prior experience in security services, military, or law enforcement is an advantage

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

• Excellent navigation skills with good knowledge of Lagos routes and alternatives

• Physically fit and able to work extended driving hours when required

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Salary

N120,000 – N150,000 monthly
