Role Overview

The Execution Planning Advisor I will lead execution planning activities across major projects. This role focuses on early phase planning, coordination of execution strategies, and support during project delivery. The position acts as a technical authority on execution planning and works closely with project teams, contractors, and internal functions to ensure project readiness and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution planning activities across planning and delivery stages
• Coordinate audits for contractors, suppliers, and project teams
• Plan and facilitate front end execution planning workshops
• Develop execution plans, mitigation strategies, and work programs
• Monitor project progress and resolve execution related issues
• Support project teams during the execution stage with schedule recovery and planning support
• Ensure execution planning deliverables meet project milestones and approval gates
• Track and report progress of execution planning activities to stakeholders
• Provide expert advice on execution planning during project reviews and assessments
• Support capital project management processes as assigned
• Mentor engineers and support knowledge development within the execution planning team

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Strong experience in the oil and gas industry
• Background in project management and execution roles
• Experience managing capital projects across multiple project phases
• Ability to work across teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel for project and business needs
• Good leadership and mentoring skills
