Key Responsibilities
- Teach both theoretical and practical aspects of fashion design to students.
- Demonstrate and guide students in sewing techniques and garment construction.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging sessions for in-classroom and online learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to improve skills.
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Relevant academic qualifications in fashion or related fields.
- 5 – 7 years proven experience as a fashion design instructor or teacher (online or physical).
- Skilled in pattern drafting; certification in Pattern Drafting is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in sewing and teaching sewing techniques effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Confident, well-presented, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work quickly, respond to student needs, and manage feedback effectively.
- Experience using hybrid teaching tools such as Zoom, WhatsApp, and email.
Bonus Skills
- Experience teaching both beginner and advanced fashion students.
- Knowledge of curriculum planning and course structuring.
