We are currently recruiting for the position below:

Job Title: Field Operator III

Location: Offshore Platform, Akwa Ibom

Employment Type: Contract

Main Functions

The Field Operator III will be responsible for operating equipment and wells by following safety procedures and operational guidelines. The role focuses on achieving daily production targets, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring safe and efficient use of resources.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Execute daily work objectives in line with safety, health, environmental, and security standards
  • Actively participate in toolbox meetings and safety meetings
  • Monitor wells and equipment to identify and implement corrective and optimization measures
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks as an Equipment Care Technician
  • Report alarms, emergencies, or system shutdowns promptly
  • Provide accurate updates during shift changes to ensure operational continuity
  • Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities according to planning schedules
  • Record all operational events, abnormalities, and deviations in the logbook
  • Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field tests
  • Participate in emergency response activities and incident reporting
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members
  • Diagnose well production problems and provide accurate data for intervention planning
  • Ensure wellheads and equipment are in good working condition before Wellwork operations
  • Support Wellwork intervention operations as required
Skills and Qualifications
  • Secondary school education with prior experience as a Field Technician
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High awareness of Safety, Health, and Environmental practices
  • In-depth knowledge of pipeline operations
  • Proficiency in safety and operations management processes
  • Strong understanding of emergency preparedness procedures
  • Familiarity with project philosophy, design specifications, and relevant regulations
  • Knowledge of commercial agreements within the Oil and Gas sector
