Job Title: Field Recovery Officer

Coverage Areas: Ijaiye, Egbeda, Sango
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Qualification: HND or B.Sc
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Field Recovery Officer to manage overdue loan accounts and recover outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will work directly with clients, conduct field visits, and ensure timely follow-up on non-performing loans. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and record-keeping skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Recover overdue and outstanding loans from clients
- Visit clients regularly to review loan status and follow up on unpaid balances
- Monitor daily overdue reports and maintain updated records
- Recommend actions that help protect company funds
- Work with branch teams to track non-performing loans
- Negotiate repayment plans with clients
- Support the process of escalating or prosecuting chronic defaulters when required
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Skills
- HND or B.Sc in any relevant field
- 1 to 3 years experience in loan recovery within a microfinance institution
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent planning and multitasking skills
- Ability to engage with clients professionally and respectfully
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Organized, accurate, and motivated
- Previous loan recovery experience is required
