Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager in managing daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, compliance with financial regulations, and timely financial reporting to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and documents for management review

• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with standard practices

• Monitor budgets and support expenditure control

• Manage invoicing and follow up on payments from clients

• Handle tax refunds and ensure transparent allocation for valid claims

• Follow up on outstanding, false, and unclaimed refunds

• Provide auditors with VAT records, settlements, and transaction data

• Work closely with other departments on financial matters

• Prepare monthly reports including sales reports, profit and loss statements, general ledger entries, goods received notes, and goods issued notes

Qualifications

• Minimum of a First Degree in a relevant field

• At least 2 years of cognate experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good business writing and communication skills

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Willingness to learn and grow on the job

• Good analytical and organizational skills

Salary and Benefits

N185,000 monthly (Net) plus other benefits
