Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to lead all financial operations of Refin Homes. This role is essential to our long-term success, overseeing everything from budgeting and investment planning to compliance and reporting. You will play a key role in driving the financial health of the business while supporting sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Provide financial direction aligned with the company’s mission and growth goals
• Advise the Managing Director on financial planning and business performance
• Develop and implement financial systems and procedures for efficiency and scale
• Build and structure a high-performing finance team

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning processes
• Provide insights through financial analysis to guide strategic decisions
• Evaluate and refine investment strategies to meet company objectives
• Manage cash flow and lead cost-saving initiatives

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and statutory requirements
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and investor updates
• Maintain financial records in line with best practices and GAAP standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with other departments to offer data-driven financial insights
• Review departmental plans to ensure financial alignment
• Promote collaboration through regular performance and strategy sessions

Project and Investment Oversight

• Work with project teams to assess financial feasibility and profitability
• Monitor procurement and construction costs for budget compliance
• Visit project sites to ensure financial projections are being met

Regulatory and Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions
• Represent the finance team in board meetings and strategic planning sessions
• Lead the development and enforcement of financial governance standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• ACA or ACCA certification is required; MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance, with at least 5 in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in budgeting, investment analysis, and risk management
• Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Salary Range
₦600,000 – ₦850,000 per month
