Job Title: Fish Farm Manager

Location: Enugu

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Feed fish and monitor their growth and well-being
• Grade fish by size and transfer them to appropriate tanks or ponds
• Monitor and maintain water quality to ensure a healthy environment
• Identify, prevent, and treat fish diseases and infections
• Maintain high hygiene standards to reduce risks of contamination
• Drain and clean tanks, filters, nets, and wash ponds regularly
• Keep accurate records of fish stock, sizes, and quantities
• Plan breeding programs and growth schedules for maximum productivity
• Ensure minimal fish losses through attention to detail and proactive management
• Prepare fish for sale including processing, gutting, and packaging for transport
• Handle fish processing and related activities
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the farm owner

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of fish health and nutrition
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Practical experience in fish farm management is highly desirable
