Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter to help improve operational performance by carrying out repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on key production machines and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in production machinery
- Conduct regular maintenance on packing machines, carousels, conveyors, elevators, and other systems
- Perform installations of mechanical pumps, motors, and gearboxes
- Weld and fabricate parts when needed
- Interpret and apply technical drawings and diagrams during maintenance tasks
- Maintain flour milling equipment including roller mills
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
- Perform inspections, lubrication, and routine adjustments
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix issues
Qualifications
- Five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
- A technical or vocational qualification is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role

- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot potential hazards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to technical faults
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and risk assessment
