Job Title: Fleet Officer Quality Control

Role Overview

The Fleet Officer Quality Control will support vehicle maintenance and refurbishment activities by ensuring that all inspections, repairs, and documentation meet company standards. This role focuses on quality checks, proper use of spare parts, and close monitoring of maintenance processes to keep the fleet in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation

  • Record evidence of vehicle inspections before and after maintenance
  • Ensure inspection reports are accurate and properly stored

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Test vehicles before maintenance to determine required repairs
  • Monitor repair processes to ensure correct use of approved spare parts
  • Work closely with the Vehicle Maintenance Manager to improve checklists and routines
  • Visit authorized service workshops to confirm work follows company standards
  • Inspect and test vehicles after maintenance to confirm repairs are completed correctly

Vehicle Refurbishment

  • Assist with vehicle assessment using pre assessment checklists before refurbishment
  • Inspect spare parts to confirm they meet required standards
  • Inspect and test vehicles after refurbishment using post assessment checklists
  • Guide technicians on proper maintenance practices

Administrative Duties

  • Ensure job cards are completed for every vehicle serviced
  • Support regular training sessions for technicians
Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND in an engineering related discipline
  • Mechanical Engineering background is an added advantage
  • At least two years experience as a vehicle technician or in fleet management
  • Ability to ride two wheelers and three wheelers confidently

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of fleet management operations
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
