Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and support students’ academic growth. The ideal candidate should understand the Nigerian and British curriculum, have strong classroom management skills, and be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver French lessons based on the approved curriculum.
• Assign and grade assessments, and track student progress accurately.
• Use Microsoft PowerPoint and other digital tools to create interactive learning materials.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school activities.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
Qualifications and Skills
• HND, BSc, or B.Ed in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
• Experience preparing students for exams such as WASSCE, BECE, UTME, and IGCSE.
• Ability to use an interactive whiteboard and other ICT tools for teaching.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Creative, innovative, and committed to modern teaching practices.
• Result-focused, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with students.
• IGCSE certification is an advantage.
Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 per month.
