Role Overview
Ocean Lord Ltd is hiring an experienced Gas Generator Operator to support daily power operations at its facility. The role requires hands-on experience in operating gas generators, monitoring performance, and ensuring safe and efficient power supply at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate gas generators efficiently during daily operations
- Monitor generator performance and identify faults early
- Carry out routine checks, servicing, and maintenance
- Handle minor repairs and report major faults promptly
- Follow safety guidelines and company operational procedures
- Keep clear records of maintenance activities and fuel usage
- Work closely with the technical and maintenance teams
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 7 to 11 years practical experience operating gas generators
- Strong technical knowledge of gas generator systems
- Ability to detect and resolve mechanical or electrical issues
- Good understanding of safety standards and workplace compliance
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Clear communication and basic reporting skills
Salary
Monthly gross salary of N200,000
