Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Geologist to support geological surveys, data analysis, and field operations across various projects. The role involves on site fieldwork, geological mapping, geophysics, drilling supervision, and sample analysis. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, technically skilled, and committed to delivering reliable results that support project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise foundation investigation and installation activities
• Conduct and oversee on site and laboratory analysis of soil samples
• Perform pile integrity tests
• Conduct structural integrity assessments including ultrasound tests
• Manage safety and health requirements on site
• Work with surveyors to determine accurate pile points
• Supervise drillers, casters, and iron benders on site
• Determine equipment and material requirements for each project
• Ensure equipment and materials are delivered to site
• Supervise equipment test runs to confirm functionality
• Work with the project manager to monitor and manage project budgets
• Handle equipment breakdowns and related onsite challenges
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards on site
• Ensure project quality while maintaining cost efficiency
• Prepare periodic reports on ongoing and completed projects
• Analyze and interpret geological data to identify resources and assess environmental considerations

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; a Master’s Degree is an advantage
• Minimum of five years experience in geological fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting
• Strong knowledge of site supervision and field operations
• Proficiency in geological software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• Willingness to travel to field locations when required
