Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Geophysicist III to support and enhance 2D and 3D seismic as well as wellbore acquisition programs across the company. This role requires close collaboration with operating teams, technical specialists, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient execution of seismic and borehole survey projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in seismic data interpretation, geophysical analysis, and formation evaluation.
Key Responsibilities

Support and oversee 2D/3D seismic and borehole seismic acquisition programs.

Provide expert guidance on seismic data processing and interpretation to meet project goals.

Conduct seismic attribute analysis to define structural and depositional environments and facies.

Apply post-stack and pre-stack seismic inversion and amplitude variation with offset (AVO) techniques.

Utilize geophysical data to evaluate unconventional plays and complex reservoir systems.

Interpret gravity and magnetic data to support exploration and development projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate geological and geophysical insights.

Mentor and guide junior geoscientists and contribute to technical capability development.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Geophysical Studies.

15–20 years of professional experience in geophysics or a related technical field.

Strong experience with seismic processing, interpretation, and inversion methods.

Advanced petrophysical analysis skills, especially in siliciclastic settings.

Proficiency in geoscience software such as Petrel and related geological computing tools.

In-depth knowledge of local petroleum geology and reservoir systems.

Solid background in structural geology and tectonic interpretation.

Excellent teamwork, mentoring, and communication skills.

Experience applying geophysical methods to both conventional and unconventional plays.
