Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hair Stylist to provide professional hair services, deliver excellent client care, and support daily salon operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments while maintaining high hygiene and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Hair Services

• Perform haircuts for women, men, and children using various techniques
• Provide hair colouring services including highlights, balayage, root touch-up, fashion colours, and corrective colour
• Deliver styling services such as blowouts, curls, updos, and special-event styles
• Apply treatments including deep conditioning, keratin, smoothing, scalp treatments, and bond repair

Client Care and Consultation

• Conduct consultations to understand client needs and desired results
• Offer professional advice on hair health, maintenance, and suitable styles
• Communicate clearly to ensure client satisfaction throughout each service

Safety and Hygiene

• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, sanitized, and organised
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including chemical handling guidelines
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times

Operational Duties

• Manage appointment timing and keep accurate client records
• Assist with front-desk tasks when needed, including check-in and product recommendations
• Stay updated with new trends, techniques, and industry best practices

Sales and Product Knowledge

• Recommend suitable hair care products to clients
• Promote add-on services such as treatments and styling upgrades
• Support the salon in meeting retail and service revenue targets

Qualifications

• SSCE qualification
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience

Salary and Benefits

• N100,000 monthly
• Accommodation provided
