Job Title: Hardware Computer Engineer
Location: Allen, Ikeja – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
The Hardware Computer Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring smooth IT operations within the organization. Responsibilities include:
- Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure including printers and photocopiers
- Providing support for network users
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and system management tools
- Setting up and managing enterprise messaging and collaboration systems
- Ensuring high system availability and proactively addressing issues
- Monitoring application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and working with developers or vendors to resolve them
- Implementing and maintaining security, backup, and redundancy measures
- Offering second-level support for Microsoft Exchange users
- Coordinating with vendors and IT team members for effective problem resolution
Requirements
- Professional certifications such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) or Microsoft (MCITP)
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in hardware and systems support
- Strong skills in computer installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing Active Directory domain services
- Proficiency in various Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience managing Microsoft Exchange servers
- Good understanding of data networks
- Strong written, presentation, and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision
- Capability to meet tight deadlines
- Practical experience installing and configuring Local Area Networks
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly
