Role Overview

The Head of Finance will oversee the financial strategy, planning, and operations of CRC Credit Bureau Limited. This role requires a highly analytical and strategic leader who can align financial decisions with business goals, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive financial efficiency across all business units. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, leading initiatives that promote fiscal growth, sustainability, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all finance and accounting operations.
• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning and investment decisions.
• Conduct risk management and financial exposure analysis to safeguard company assets.
• Oversee budgeting, auditing, and capital expenditure planning processes.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations.
• Review financial reports and propose strategies to reduce costs and enhance profitability.
• Strengthen internal control systems and update financial policies for improved governance.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records and documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with banks, regulators, auditors, and key financial partners.
• Support business expansion and investment projects through due diligence and financial modeling.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or CFA) is mandatory.
• Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) is an added advantage.
• 8–10 years of post-NYSC experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven experience in financial planning, risk management, and compliance.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, tax regulations, and Nigerian financial laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with stakeholder management experience.
