Role Overview

The Head Operations will oversee daily banking and operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality service, and regulatory compliance. This role provides direction across branch and operational functions, supports strong internal controls, and ensures all processes meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise branch and operational activities to ensure smooth and customer focused service
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria regulations and other statutory requirements
• Monitor daily transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and process compliance
• Identify operational risks and implement measures to reduce errors and losses
• Lead, train, and support operations staff to improve performance and service quality
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to existing processes

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Social Sciences
• Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage
• Strong experience in banking or financial services operations
• Good knowledge of banking processes, operational controls, and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, organization, and people management skills
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem solving ability
