Job Title: Home Economics Teacher
Location: Ibadan, Oyo State

Role Overview
We are hiring a Home Economics Teacher who will teach students using both the Cambridge curriculum and the Nigerian curriculum. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, well-organized, and able to create an engaging classroom experience for learners.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Home Economics based on approved Cambridge and Nigerian curricula
• Prepare clear lesson plans, learning materials, and class activities
• Set tests, assignments, and exams to evaluate student understanding
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide feedback
• Maintain a supportive, disciplined, and interactive classroom environment
• Take part in school programs, meetings, and training sessions
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• B.Ed or B.Sc with PGDE completed or in view
• TRCN certification is an advantage
• Master’s degree is an added benefit
• At least 2 years of teaching experience
• Experience teaching both Cambridge and Nigerian curricula
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work well with students and school staff
Salary
Monthly salary of ₦120,000
