Role Overview

The Hotel Supervisor is responsible for the smooth day to day running of hotel operations. This role ensures that guests receive quality service while hotel staff work efficiently across all departments. The successful candidate will manage teams, resolve issues quickly, and maintain high hospitality standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across front desk, housekeeping, and food services
• Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and pricing to support revenue goals
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and service standards
• Train, guide, and assess staff performance regularly
• Prepare work schedules and assign duties to team members
• Resolve staff concerns and promote a supportive work environment
• Attend to guest needs, complaints, and feedback in a timely manner
• Share information on hotel services and nearby attractions with guests
• Ensure guest requests are handled professionally and without delay
• Support the General Manager with budgeting and operational reports
• Keep accurate records of inventory, payroll, and expenses
• Apply hotel policies to improve service quality and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Organize staff training on safety rules and emergency procedures

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage
• At least three years experience in hotel operations or a supervisory hospitality role
• Strong people management and team coordination skills
• Good communication skills for guest and staff interaction
• Ability to use hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Practical problem solving skills in a fast paced environment

Salary

NGN 100,000 to NGN 150,000 per month
