Role Overview

We are hiring an HR Generalist to support our human resources operations at our Sagamu facility. This role focuses on employee administration, compliance, onboarding, and general HR support within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees to ensure HR processes run smoothly and in line with labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding and orientation activities
• Maintain accurate employee records, files, attendance, and leave data
• Handle pension administration, including calculations and timely remittance
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory requirements
• Support recruitment activities from manpower requests to onboarding
• Provide HR guidance on policies, employee relations, and performance matters
• Track HR data such as attendance, turnover, and disciplinary records
• Prepare basic HR reports for internal use
• Support training, staff development, and employee engagement programs

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
• CIPM certification is an added advantage
• Minimum of four years experience in an HR Generalist role within FMCG or manufacturing
• Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR compliance
• Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Good problem solving and organizational skills
• Must live in Sagamu or be willing to relocate close to the factory

Salary

Monthly pay ranges from N180,000 to N200,000
