Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Igbo Teacher to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching the Igbo language within a British curriculum framework, with a proven record of preparing students for top-level academic success.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject area or a related discipline
- Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, etc.) with QTS/TRCN certification
- At least 7 years’ experience teaching as a subject teacher in a secondary school setting
- Proven experience teaching in a British school environment (desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience preparing final-year students for British-standard assessments such as IGCSE or A-Level in the Igbo language
- Strong understanding of British curriculum and assessment frameworks
