Job Title: Intermediate Associate Lawyer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Lawyer who can handle legal matters with professionalism and independence. The role requires strong legal judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to support clients and internal stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle legal drafting, reviews, and advisory services
  • Provide support on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
  • Conduct legal research and prepare clear reports and opinions
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders when required
  • Support senior legal professionals on complex legal transactions
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting agreed deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and professional standards
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of Second Class Upper
  • At least five years post qualification experience with a reputable law firm
  • Master of Laws degree is an added advantage
  • Membership of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria is an added advantage
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound reasoning skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage competing priorities
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required
Salary

N400,000 to N480,000 per month
