Job Title: Internal Audit Officer
Location: Sabo, Yaba – Lagos

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Officer to support our business operations by evaluating risk, strengthening controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance across departments. This role involves field visits, analysis, reporting, and close interaction with management and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend meetings with departments to understand business processes
- Visit company locations to collect documents and verify information
- Assess the effectiveness of risk management processes and document findings
- Provide advice to staff and managers on risk and internal control issues
- Conduct risk assessments to determine key focus areas for audits
- Identify emerging issues and suggest proactive strategies
- Support management with recommendations for operational improvements
- Present findings and recommendations in written reports
- Monitor regulatory compliance and highlight any gaps to management
- Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc. in Accountancy or Economics
- At least 3 years of audit experience in a structured retail environment
Key Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity
- Good documentation and report writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
