Nepal Oil & Gas Services Limited is a fully indigenous company operating across the downstream, midstream, and upstream segments of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. Established in 2004, the company has built strong expertise in trading, supply, and production support within the petroleum sector.

We are currently seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join our team in Lagos.

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carry out risk-based audits across operations including trading, supply chain, depots, retail outlets, and logistics
• Review financial, operational, and compliance processes for efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory alignment
• Assess internal controls related to revenue assurance, inventory, product losses, pricing, and receivables
• Identify risks, fraud exposures, and process gaps while recommending corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as NMDPRA, PPPRA, DPR, and FIRS
• Monitor and report compliance with HSE standards in all operations
• Prepare and present clear audit reports with actionable recommendations
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to confirm improvements
• Support management in developing policies and procedures that strengthen governance and accountability
• Provide advisory input on risks associated with new projects, contracts, and partnerships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification: ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent (mandatory or in progress)
• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in internal audit

Salary

N250,000 – N350,000 per month
