Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor for our client in the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will review internal processes, assess risks, and recommend improvements that support efficiency and compliance. This role involves working closely with various departments to conduct audits, analyze financial information, and ensure internal controls protect the company’s assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Review company operations and carry out risk assessments
• Develop and implement annual internal audit plans
• Conduct audits to check the effectiveness of internal controls and procedures
• Analyze financial statements and accounting records to identify issues
• Check compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare clear audit reports for management review
• Share audit findings and recommendations with stakeholders
• Track the implementation of approved audit recommendations
• Stay updated on industry regulations and auditing best practices
• Support special investigations, projects, and process improvement activities
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACA, CPA, or CIA certification is an advantage
• Minimum of 8 years experience as an Internal Auditor in a manufacturing or logistics company
• Strong understanding of internal control systems and risk management
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards such as COSO or SOX
• Experience using auditing or data analysis tools such as ACL or IDEA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Willingness to travel when required

Salary

N800,000 to N1,500,000 net monthly
