Role Overview

The Inventory and Logistics Officer will manage daily warehouse operations, ensure proper stock handling, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role supports smooth product movement, effective planning, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound inventory activities for all additive materials and products
• Coordinate receiving processes in line with company procedures and regulatory standards
• Plan and improve supply timelines to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock movement, batches, and shelf life
• Record and store samples for each batch accurately
• Monitor order accuracy from placement to customer delivery
• Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and proper product handling
• Reduce product damage and ensure product integrity
• Implement operational processes for efficiency and compliance
• Supervise loaders and forklift operators to ensure proper loading, transfer, and storage
• Coordinate all loading and offloading activities
• Update all stock transactions in the ERP system
• Arrange products using FEFO First Expiry First Out
• Manage forklift servicing schedules and repairs
• Ensure office and equipment are properly maintained
• Prepare goods-cleared reports every two weeks
• Flag close-to-expiry products and conduct aging analysis
• Report slow-moving and obsolete stock monthly
• Highlight damaged or non-conforming products

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory or logistics supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Professional certifications such as CILT or APICS are an advantage
• Strong understanding of warehouse systems and inventory control methods
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Familiarity with Nigerian logistics operations and regulations
• Strong planning and analytical skills
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary

N350000 to N400000 monthly Net
