Role Overview

The IT Officer will support the organisation’s technology needs, manage digital platforms, and maintain a consistent and accessible online presence. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work with different teams.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support
• Provide technical support across all IT systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Stay updated on new IT developments and apply best practices.

Web and Mobile App Management
• Manage the Disability Hub application.
• Ensure all applications support accessibility for persons with disabilities.
• Serve as product owner for digital applications.

Website Development and Maintenance
• Design, develop, and update the organisation’s website.
• Work with teams to ensure the website supports communication goals.
• Improve website visibility through SEO practices.

Graphic Design
• Create digital and print design materials.
• Maintain the organisation’s visual identity, including branding guidelines.
• Design presentations, brochures, and other communication materials.
• Produce multimedia content such as images, videos, animations, and infographics.

Other Tasks
• Carry out any other duties assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Experience in IT support, web development, and graphic design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and network administration.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Good problem-solving ability and adaptability.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
