Role Overview

The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure meals are prepared to set standards, and support the kitchen team to maintain quality, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure meals are prepared according to approved recipes and standards
• Monitor portion control and reduce waste
• Train new kitchen staff on processes, recipes, hygiene, and safety
• Taste and assess meals before serving times to maintain quality
• Ensure all dishes meet required standards for taste, appearance, and temperature
• Submit daily production reports to the Operations Manager

Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or HND in any field; culinary or hospitality training is an advantage
• 2 to 4 years experience in a busy kitchen or food production environment
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cooking methods
• Ability to follow processes and maintain consistency
• Good multitasking and time management skills
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Salary

N100,000 to N150,000 per month.
