Role Overview

We are urgently looking for a dedicated Legal Counsel to support our legal and regulatory functions. The ideal candidate must reside within the Ikeja axis and possess strong experience in corporate and commercial law, legal advisory, compliance, and litigation management.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, policies, and legal documents.
• Handle company litigation matters, represent the organization in court or arbitration, and manage external legal correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing all company activities.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, strategic guidance to management and internal teams.
• Manage regulatory filings, permits, and licensing requirements with agencies such as CAC and FIRS.
• Identify potential legal risks in business operations and recommend mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• LL.B degree and must be called to the Nigerian Bar.
• Strong analytical and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to negotiate, draft, and interpret legal documents effectively.
• Professional, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)
