Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Solution Architect to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will lead the design of customized solar solutions that meet client needs while adhering to industry standards. Your contributions will help us position Arnergy as the go-to brand for solar energy solutions in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Solution Architect, you will:

• Design technical proposals using solar design software and tools to determine the best system configuration.
• Provide materials and quantity estimates to support commercial pricing models.
• Develop electrical Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) and 3D visualizations for early-stage project planning and costing.
• Conduct site assessments and energy audits to gather data on customer load profiles, energy demand, and environmental conditions.
• Create and manage a comprehensive database of site assessments and proposals.
• Assist in project execution by contributing to implementation plans.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses and model potential energy savings.
• Work closely with operations to ensure smooth project commissioning.
• Support the sales team during pre-sales engagements.
• Respond to technical queries and RFPs from the commercial team.

Qualifications and Requirements

You’re a great fit if you have:

• A first-class or 2.1 degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience with solar energy systems including inverters, charge controllers, battery storage, and energy management.
• A strong grasp of solar PV technology, system sizing, and electrical standards.
• Experience conducting professional energy audits and on-site evaluations.
• Proficiency in solar design software such as Helioscope and PVsyst.
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Solid experience in cross-functional teamwork and project management.
• Relevant certifications in project execution or solar technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
• A proactive attitude with high standards of excellence.
• Comfort working with numbers and analytics.
• Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Google Workspace, or MS Suite (self-rated 7+ proficiency).
