Job Title: Local Cook

Job Summary

The Local Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of traditional Nigerian meals. The ideal candidate should be experienced, reliable, and able to consistently deliver great-tasting local food in a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Nigerian local dishes.
• Ensure meals are cooked and served fresh within set timelines.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Follow recipes or instructions to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• Monitor food supplies and report shortages promptly.
• Store and handle food in line with safety guidelines.
• Comply with all food hygiene and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a local cook in a restaurant, hotel, or private setting.
• Ability to prepare different Nigerian dishes confidently.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to receive feedback.
• Minimum of SSCE preferred; culinary or vocational training is an advantage.
• Dependable and committed to delivering quality meals.

Salary

N150,000 monthly.
