Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Machine Operators to join our production team. The successful candidates will operate slitting machines in line with job specifications, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review job orders and prepare materials for production
• Collect printed rolls from the printing machine as scheduled
• Load rolls, set sizes, edge sensors, and lock positions
• Adjust winder tension brakes and confirm bale positions
• Monitor product length and roll diameter to meet specifications
• Operate machines in line with approved job requirements
• Inspect slitting sizes and maintain accurate tension during operation
• Begin production only after first-off approval from Quality Assurance
• Identify and separate defective rolls such as uneven winding or off-cuts
• Weigh, wrap, and arrange finished rolls on pallets
• Move completed pallets to the palletizing section
• Clean and maintain machines and work areas after each job

Requirements

• Previous experience operating slitting machines in flexible packaging or blown film production
• Basic mechanical knowledge with strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow work orders and adhere to quality standards
• Good teamwork spirit and effective communication skills

Salary

N110,000 – N130,000 per month
