Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Sango Ota, Ogun State
Employment Type: Full time
Role Overview
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machines to ensure smooth factory operations. This role supports continuous production by reducing downtime and ensuring machines work efficiently at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machines according to standard operating procedures
- Monitor machines during production to ensure smooth and accurate output
- Carry out routine checks on machines to prevent faults
- Plan and follow preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Identify and fix minor mechanical problems quickly to reduce downtime
- Keep clear records of machine maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Record production data such as material usage, waste, and machine performance
- Report machine issues and production updates to supervisors
Qualifications and Skills
- Ordinary National Diploma OND or equivalent
- One to three years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Good record keeping and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Salary
Monthly salary range is between N150,000 and N200,000
