Job Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Ilorin, Kwara State
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all installations, including telecommunications, electrical systems, and refurbishments
- Maintain equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspect buildings and structures to identify repair or renovation needs
- Monitor utility usage and work to reduce operational costs
- Supervise facilities staff such as technicians, groundskeepers, and custodians
- Coordinate with external contractors when necessary
- Manage building operations such as waste disposal, security, and parking space allocation
Requirements
- Background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is preferred
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in facility management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of technical operations and best practices in facilities management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
