Job Title: Male Restaurant and Lounge Accountant
Location: Ajah Badore, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Role Overview

The Restaurant and Lounge Accountant will manage day to day financial records and reporting for a restaurant and lounge business. This role requires practical accounting experience in the hospitality sector, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial data accurately. The accountant will work closely with management to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for restaurant and lounge activities
• Reconcile daily sales, POS reports, cash records, and bank transactions
• Track expenses, petty cash, and operational costs to support cost control
• Work with the storekeeper and operations team to manage inventory records
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports such as profit and loss, cash flow, and expense summaries
• Assist with payroll preparation and staff salary documentation
• Organize and file invoices, receipts, and supplier payment records
• Handle tax documentation, statutory deductions, and basic compliance tasks where required
• Identify and report financial errors, losses, or irregular activities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with management
• Follow internal financial controls and company policies at all times

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related course
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a restaurant, lounge, or hospitality environment
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software and POS systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial documentation
• High level of honesty, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be male and currently living in Ajah or nearby areas

Salary

N200,000 per month
