Role Overview

The Manager, Food and Beverage II is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the property. This role covers kitchen, restaurant, bar, and room service activities. The manager ensures high service standards, guest satisfaction, team performance, and achievement of financial targets while following all food and beverage regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage budgets for food and beverage departments
• Monitor costs and ensure efficient use of resources
• Understand financial targets and track performance against goals

• Oversee daily food and beverage operations excluding catering sales
• Supervise staff and support teams during daily activities
• Lead by example and promote teamwork, accountability, and good communication
• Create a positive and supportive work environment
• Coach and guide team members to improve performance
• Set clear goals and monitor staff productivity

• Ensure guests receive a high level of service at all times
• Handle guest concerns promptly and follow through until resolved
• Maintain service standards in line with brand expectations
• Review banquet and dining services to meet guest needs
• Support service improvement through feedback and coaching

• Conduct staff performance reviews on schedule
• Support fair treatment and open communication policies
• Identify training needs and support staff development
• Plan learning sessions and skill improvement activities

• Follow company accounting and reporting procedures
• Share information clearly with managers and team members
• Support smooth communication through meetings and daily reports
• Analyze operational issues and provide practical solutions

Qualifications and Skills

• High school certificate or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality
OR
• National Diploma or higher in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good communication and problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards
• Ability to manage budgets and track performance
• Customer-focused mindset
