Role Overview

We are looking for a practical and experienced Mechanical Technician to support daily production activities in our food manufacturing plant. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and improving the performance of production and packaging machines to ensure smooth operations and reduced downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and repair VFFS machines, food seasoning machines, and packaging equipment
• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
• Identify mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to avoid production delays
• Ensure machines run according to safety, hygiene, and operational standards
• Keep accurate maintenance records, service logs, and spare parts reports
• Assist with installation, setup, and testing of new equipment
• Work closely with production teams to improve machine efficiency
• Follow all workplace safety and food hygiene rules

Qualifications and Skills

• OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
• Practical experience with VFFS machines, seasoning equipment, and food packaging machines
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and manuals
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Residency Requirement

• Applicants must live in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby areas

Salary

• N180,000 per month
