Role Overview

The Media and Communications Officer will be responsible for managing the school’s online presence and communication activities. This role focuses on content creation, digital engagement, brand visibility, and communication support for school programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the school’s digital presence across social media platforms
• Create and publish content that showcases academic programs, training activities, and international opportunities
• Promote school events, workshops, and entrepreneurial initiatives online
• Improve brand visibility and audience engagement through digital platforms
• Support communication campaigns for school activities and announcements
• Prepare proposals for possible business and institutional partnerships
• Monitor online engagement and suggest improvements to communication strategies

Qualifications and Skills

• B.Sc, B.Ed, or HND in Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related fields from a recognized institution
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar media or communications role
• Good computer and digital skills
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive, and well organized
• Marketing knowledge is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate with a team

Salary

N105,000 to N120,000 per month
