Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Medical Doctors to support day to day patient care in a clinical setting. The role involves examining patients, making diagnoses, managing treatment plans, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.

This position is suitable for doctors who are committed to clinical excellence, continuous learning, and patient centred practice.

Key Responsibilities

• See patients for routine and emergency consultations.
• Take detailed medical histories and carry out physical examinations.
• Request, review, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging.
• Make evidence based diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies in line with current guidelines.
• Manage long term conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses.
• Provide preventive care including health checks, screenings, and vaccinations where applicable.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
• Update patient records accurately and keep clear clinical notes.
• Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, specialists, and other members of the care team.
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and case reviews.
• Keep up to date with current medical research, protocols, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Valid licence to practise medicine in Nigeria.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience after housemanship.
• Strong clinical judgement and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and listening skills with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, fast paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
