Job Summary
Eastern and Western Hospital is looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced laboratory tests, analyzing findings, and supporting the development of new diagnostic methods. This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong background in laboratory science.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out laboratory tests and experiments with accuracy
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results for patient care and research purposes
- Develop and validate new diagnostic testing methods
- Collaborate with healthcare and research teams for continuous improvement
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and accurate record keeping
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science with a major in Chemistry
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage
- Relevant work experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality results
