Role Overview

The Motion Designer will create engaging motion experiences for web and mobile platforms. The role involves working closely with product, engineering, illustration, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life through animation. This position requires strong creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high quality motion work that supports product and brand goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype motion interactions for web and mobile
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, illustrators, and marketing teams
• Develop and maintain motion guidelines within the design system
• Create high fidelity animations using tools such as After Effects, Figma, Principle, or Framer
• Work with engineers to ensure smooth handoff and technical accuracy
• Improve animations based on feedback and usability insights
• Stay updated on motion trends and industry practices

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in motion design, micro interactions, and UI animations
• Proficiency in After Effects, Figma, Framer, Principle, Lottie, Rive, and CSS animations
• Strong understanding of timing, easing, and animation physics
• Ability to apply and contribute to a design system
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Knowledge of prototyping methods for communicating motion
• Understanding of accessibility in motion design
• Ability to create visually appealing and high performance animations
