Job Title: National Consultant – Jigawa LQAS Survey

Assignment Overview
We are seeking a qualified National Consultant to lead the End of Round (EoR) evaluation for the MDA-AZM programme using the Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) method. This role involves training, supervising data collection, analyzing results, and reporting outcomes in Jigawa State.
Role Purpose
The consultant will coordinate and implement the data collection process, analyze survey results, and provide key insights that will guide programme improvements. The evaluation will assess treatment coverage and protocol adherence, identifying areas that require additional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight for the EoR protocol in Jigawa
- Develop and review training materials and supervision checklists
- Facilitate the training of state-level supervisors and data collectors
- Oversee and support the data collection process
- Review and interpret datasets using SurveyCTO/Kobocollect
- Analyze survey findings and present clear summaries for programme teams
- Deliver feedback sessions at both state and national levels
- Prepare a full technical report and a presentation deck for dissemination
Expected Deliverables
- State-level analyzed data from SurveyCTO
- Pre- and post-training test reports
- Preliminary findings and feedback session report
- Final technical report detailing methodology, key insights, and recommendations
- PowerPoint presentation summarizing evaluation outcomes
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Statistics, Demography, or a related field
- 5–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in public health research
- Proficient with tools such as Kobocollect, SurveyCTO, STATA, or similar
- Strong facilitation and report writing skills
- Ability to interpret and present data in simple, actionable formats
- Fluency in the local language is an advantage
- Must be available for the full survey duration
- Cannot be currently employed by government or involved in MDA-AZM activities
- Must reside in Jigawa State
