Role Overview

We are seeking a caring and committed Nursery Teacher to support the early learning and development of young children. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning through play and daily routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children at all times
• Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support early learning and development
• Use play-based methods to encourage creativity, exploration, and basic skills
• Observe children’s progress and identify individual learning or support needs
• Maintain daily routines such as meals, rest time, and structured activities
• Communicate clearly with parents and guardians about children’s progress
• Work closely with other teachers and school staff to support classroom goals

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant teaching qualification in early childhood education or a related field
• Previous experience working with nursery or early years children
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children
• Ability to observe, assess, and support individual learning needs

Salary

N60,000 to N70,000 per month
