Job Title: OSP Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Lagos

Job Summary
The OSP Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of ipNX fiber optic and civil work activities on the outside plant network. This role requires daily field involvement, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with local authority standards while maintaining the fiber infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure service restoration for corporate customers within 3 hours of failure and retail customers within 12 hours
- Manage the implementation and integration of new projects while ensuring incident tickets are closed on time
- Provide real-time updates and communication for incident management through the OTRS application
- Identify and execute preventive maintenance activities on the fiber network
- Conduct audits and prepare accurate documentation for outside plant infrastructure
- Prepare and submit weekly support status reports for review
- Activate FOS customer requests within 3 days of sign-up and submit post-activation reports
- Ensure quality assurance in civil works supervision and network maintenance
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Applied Sciences
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry with fiber network deployment and outside plant maintenance
- Strong background in civil works supervision and quality control
- Experience in obtaining ROW Licenses from Local Authorities or State Regulatory Agencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with good knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Experience using Visio, AutoCAD, or GIS tools is an advantage
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in maintaining metro and long-distance fiber optic infrastructure
- Hands-on knowledge of fiber deployment and maintenance, including fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and LSPM analysis
- Familiarity with telecom industry standards, safety regulations, and documentation practices
Salary
N200,000 per month
