Role Overview

The Personnel Manager will manage all human resources activities at our plastic manufacturing facility in Sango Ota. This role focuses on hiring, employee welfare, performance management, compliance, and payroll support. The ideal candidate will work closely with management and staff to maintain a productive and well organized workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment from job posting to employee onboarding, including interviews and documentation
• Handle employee relations by addressing concerns, complaints, and workplace issues
• Conduct performance reviews and support training and staff development programs
• Plan and execute HR strategies that support business goals
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and workplace health and safety standards
• Oversee payroll processes and support employees with benefits, leave, and HR records

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong experience in HR or personnel management, preferably in a manufacturing or plastic production environment
• Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and factory safety practices
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and HR management systems
• Clear communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong people management and problem solving skills
• Good organization, flexibility, and ability to work with different teams

Salary

Monthly salary ranges from ₦400,000 to ₦500,000, based on experience and qualifications
